Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist for the Cullman Blend Mill on the 2nd shift (nights). The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment while upholding safety and Tyson policies. Starting pay is $21.05 per hour plus overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include assembling/disassembling equipment, performing preventive maintenance, welding, and following LOTO procedures. Physical tasks and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
• Welding on ferrous materials using oxy-fuel welding equipment, oxygen cutting, and plasma cutting.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Must perform physical tasks including climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying up to 70 lbs weekly.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Housekeeping responsibilities.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic systems, and circuit components.
• Perform welding on ferrous materials using oxy-fuel, oxygen cutting, and plasma cutting.
• Follow LOTO procedures and safety rules.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Work at heights safely and communicate effectively.
