Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN licensure in Texas.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Management/supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and participate in delivery of patient care in accordance with facility standards and physician orders.
• Evaluate staffing patterns with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medications/treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
• Develop and evaluate care plans.
• Identify equipment and supply needs.
• Direct/subordinate staff and oversee assignments.
• Coordinate subordinates and tasks efficiently.
• Oversee staff performance and address disciplinary actions.
• Monitor infection control compliance and safety procedures.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and document findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
