Job summary

Providence Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Tyler, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the night shift (6pm–6am). The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment with supervisory responsibilities for nursing staff.

You will follow physician orders, administer medications, and coordinate care plans under regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN license
• Supervisory/management experience
• Experience in long-term care settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow physician orders and care plans

Responsibilities

• Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices.
• Evaluate staffing patterns with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medications/treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify/secures equipment supplies.
• Direct/subordinate staff and oversee shift tasks.
• Oversee infection control compliance and safety.
