University Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital serving North Texas. We seek a licensed LVN to provide nursing care, administer medications, and support treatment plans under RN supervision.

The role is full-time nights (7p-7:30a) with rotating weekends; requires graduation from an accredited LVN program, Texas licensure, and CPR certification. Psychiatric experience is preferred for excellent patient care.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited vocational/practical nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year as LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred.
• Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing in the State.

Mansioni

• Take and record vital signs properly.
• Observe and document changes in patients' appearance, behavior and progress toward treatment goals.
• Communicate changes in patient's condition to the provider and unit nurse.
• Report signs and symptoms of infection to the Charge provider and unit nurse.
