Job summary

Red River Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking compassionate LVNs to join our psychiatric nursing team. You will provide care within the LPN/LVN scope, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years of nursing experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training offered on hire).

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope.
• Provide safe, compassionate care and uphold patient safety.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document accurately.
• Collaborate with RNs and doctors to plan and adjust care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and reports.
• Support patients and families with information and reassurance.
