Job summary
Plum Creek Recovery Ranch in Texas seeks an LVN/LPN to provide direct nursing services to clients with substance use disorders in an ambulatory community-based treatment model. The LVN will manage detoxification, ongoing assessments, triage, stabilization, and monitoring, and collaborate with primary care providers and the treatment team.
The role requires a Texas LVN/LPN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in detox or inpatient/outpatient settings.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered LVN/LPN licensed in Texas.
- At least one year of professional nursing experience, preferably in detox/inpatient/outpatient settings.
- Must obtain and maintain approved CPR certification, de-escalation training, and ASAM training.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications and provides medication education to patients.
- Assists with detoxification care.
- Trains new nursing staff in clinic duties.
- Communicates with physicians regarding patient care.
- Coordinates medication management and reconciliation.
