Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in California. You will deliver individualized care under RN direction, document plans and patient responses, and educate patients and families about the Plan of Care and treatments.

The position requires a CA LVN license and BLS certification, with union-covered terms under SEIU-UHW. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, with a 11 PM–7:30 AM shift.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• California LVN license required.
• One year LVN experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform individualized nursing care under RN supervision.
• Collect assessment data and participate in planning and evaluation of outcomes.
• Communicate with patient/family and educate on Plan of Care and treatments.
• Document care provided, plans, and patient responses per guidelines.
• Support teaching of patients and families and advocate for patient rights.
• Update and communicate care plans with the healthcare team.
