Job summary

Porters Neck Village is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a Saturday night PRN shift in a clinic setting within our independent living community. The role offers competitive pay ($27–$30.50/hour) and opportunities for free continuing competency offerings accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

You will monitor nurse call systems, provide direct patient care, document visits, follow infection control protocols, and assist residents as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have current North Carolina LPN license.
• Current AHA CPR certification or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the nurse call system and respond promptly.
• Provide clinical care including first aid, CPR, medication administration, vital signs, and more.
• Assist with direct resident care as needed.
• Document all clinic visits and emergency situations accurately.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of resident information.
• Respond to emergency situations (fire, power outage, natural disasters, etc.).
• Escort residents as needed (may require driving a company vehicle).
