Job summary

Goodworks Unlimited is seeking a full-time RN for a night shift at an 18-bed ALF Memory Care facility. The role includes administering medications, executing the care plan, and ensuring a safe environment for residents.

Strong clinical background in gerontology or mental health is preferred. Candidates must be licensed, able to handle stress, communicate well with staff, residents, and families, and be willing to work weekends or holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior clinical and recent mental health or gerontological experience preferred.
• Current State Nursing Licensure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, physicians, and residents.
• Ability to follow state licensure guidelines in relation to medications.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions in difficult situations.
• Good judgement in clinical scenarios.
• Ability to accurately assess residents' health status.
• Physical ability to lift/move >50 pounds; stand/walk long periods.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication as prescribed.
• Implement the plan of care and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide complete documentation.
• Coach, supervise and assist direct care staff.
• Provide and supervise basic care for residents.
• Some weekends and holidays may be required.
