Job summary

Lifespace Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for Abbey Delray South in Delray Beach, FL. This part-time night shift (7pm–7am) offers a pay range of $28.05–$38.58 per hour and opportunities to work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver resident-centered care.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active LPN license and required state licensure. Background screening is part of the hiring process in Florida.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Certifications and Licensed Practical Nurse license and other licensure required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate with the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate and evaluate resident care.
• Document resident condition and nursing needs accurately and timely; report observations and reactions.
• Develop, direct and monitor nursing assistant assignments and adjust based on census and care level.
• Execute treatments and document reactions to medications and treatments.
• Generate, prepare, administer, and chart all medications.
• Initiate physician orders and coordinate with families on medication changes.
• Establish care plan data to reflect the resident’s individuality.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure quality service.
