Armor Health in Marietta, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Cobb County Jail. You will provide holistic nursing care in a correctional setting and support physicians, RNs, and allied health professionals during examinations, treatments, and routine procedures.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR certification, and proficiency with electronic medical records. You must be able to pass a Level 2 background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Current/Active state license as an LPN.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficient with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assist health care providers with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures.
• Obtain patient health history, collect lab specimens, take vital signs and administer TB skin tests.
• Conduct lab tests and ensure results reach the physician or RN promptly.
• Ensure patients receive proper care for injuries or conditions.
• Review patient charts and report observed symptoms, reactions, or changes in condition.
• Coordinate patient transfers to medical facilities; administer medications; document contacts using POMR.
