Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising multiple logistics departments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with hospital operations to maintain smooth patient flow during nights and weekend

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of job-related experience in asset logistics or patient transportation in a healthcare environment.
• Completes the Supervisor – Logistics training program within 120 days of hire.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervises one or more departments as assigned within Logistics operations throughout The Metro Health System (MHS), including Transportation Services, Patient Transport, Mail Room, inter-system courier services, transport equipment supply, Textile Services, and Asset Relocation and Disposal.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
• Coordinates and oversees daily operations of logistics-related functions and staff.
• Ensures efficient and safe transport and logistics processes across departments.
