Mesilla Valley Transportation is seeking a Local Pick-Up & Delivery Planner for the night shift in El Paso, TX. The role focuses on planning trucks to service contract freight and optimizing equipment utilization in coordination with Operations to meet on-time service.

Responsibilities include guiding local drivers, monitoring schedules, and communicating with the Customer Service Team to resolve delays. This position requires strong multitasking and problem-solving within a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of Motor Carrier Operations and Geography.
• Moderate knowledge of North American Supply Chain Network and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Plans pick up and deliveries for local drivers.
• Monitors drivers to ensure on-time completion.
• Communicates with Customer Service on delays or issues.
• Provides input on available capacity to authorize T-calls.
• Forecasts upcoming challenges for the next day and informs second shift.
