Job summary

KLN Family Brands in Perham, MN is seeking a Licorice Cook for the night shift to support production of licorice and mogul gummy flavors, including the physical mixing of ingredients and accurate quality control tests.

The role involves operating mixing, cooking and extruding equipment, inspecting sanitation and completing required paperwork with supervision and QC. Strong math, hand–eye coordination, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• General mathematical ability.
• Good hand–eye coordination and ability to execute procedures.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Forklift operation and ability to pass certification exam.
• Willingness to work with others and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing, cooking and extruding equipment for licorice and gummies.
• Perform sanitation and pre-start up checks.
• Weigh and measure ingredients per formula and document paperwork.
• Report equipment or material issues to Production Supervisor or QC.
• Assist with downtime coordination and supply of product.
