MLK Community Healthcare is seeking a Part-Time Night Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide bedside care under RN supervision, monitor patients, and support crisis intervention to improve comfort and safety.

The role requires California LPT licensure, BLS, and 6–12 months of acute psychiatric experience, with the ability to work night shifts and collaborate with the care team.

Competenze

• 6–12 months LPT experience in acute psychiatric unit.
• Current California LPT license.
• BLS certification required.
• Workplace Violence Prevention training within 30 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Accept and process physician orders in collaboration with the RN.
• Provide continuous bedside observations and supportive care as directed.
• Report changes in patient condition and family needs promptly.
• Support therapeutic milieu and crisis intervention as needed.
• Assist discharge instructions and follow-up planning.
