Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates unit activities on a designated shift.
• Performs direct patient care as needed and serves as clinical resource to staff.
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and document nursing care using the nursing process.
• Identify and resolve gaps in care from hospitalization to ambulatory care.
