Job summary

UVMMC is seeking a Pharmacist Night Lead—EM/CC to join our on-site team at the Medical Center in Burlington. This full-time night shift role operates 7 days on/7 days off, delivering focused care in emergency medicine and critical care while supporting other shifts as needed.

The Night Lead will verify orders, monitor regimens, respond to drug information questions, counsel patients, mentor students, and coordinate operational functions with technicians and other clinicians in a two-pharmacist

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science from ACPE accredited school required.
• ASHP PGY1 Residency and ASHP PGY2 Residency in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist in Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Clinical order verification, monitoring and evaluation of pharmacotherapeutic regimens.
• Answer drug information questions and provide patient counseling.
• Coordinate operational functions with pharmacy technicians and participate in stroke alert and trauma/code response.

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science degree from ACPE accredited school of pharmacy

Licensed pharmacist in Vermont
