Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Lab Tech 2 for the Core Lab in Irving, TX. The role supports specimen processing, phlebotomy, clerical checks, and basic laboratory operations during night shifts (7on/7off, 9pm–7:30am).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in specimen processing and phlebotomy in a core lab hospital department.
• Certification in Phlebotomy National Agency highly desired.

Responsibilities

• The Lab Tech 2 receives and/or processes specimens, performs clerical checks and support functions. May perform phlebotomy.
• Operates laboratory equipment and maintains inventory.
• Maintains effective communication with laboratory personnel and external customers.
• Participates in laboratory projects and educational activities.
