Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health’s Core Lab in Dallas seeks a Lab Tech 2 to receive and process specimens, perform clerical checks, and support laboratory operations. This role requires phlebotomy skills and the ability to work in a high-volume setting.

Shift: Day 7on7off, 3am–1:30pm. Education: HS Diploma or GED. Benefits include health/welfare, 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of specimen processing experience.
• Must be able to work in a high-volume lab.
• Education: HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process specimens; perform clerical checks and support functions.
• Sort, label, and record patient specimens; prepare for Medical Technologist.
• Operate centrifuge and other lab equipment to complete duties.
• Maintain inventory and communicate with lab staff and external customers.
