Under supervision, you will collect specimens, process orders, and assist in maintaining accurate records while providing patient-centered care across shifts with rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs loading and unloading of lab specimens from instrumentation and waived testing.
• Assists in problem requisitions/specimens and orients new hires.
• Answers phones and responds to customer inquiries.
• Collects, labels, processes and preserves blood, urine and other specimens.
• Enters and processes lab orders in the EMR system.
