Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida is seeking a Clinical Lab Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead phlebotomy services and supervise staff. The role coordinates student experiences within affiliated education programs and contributes to department objectives.

You will participate in performance improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with staffing, training and competency assessments. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of leadership/management experience preferred.
• 2+ years of related laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement activities and resolves customer service issues.
• Assists department leadership with staffing, interviewing, orientation, training, coaching, mentoring and competency assessment.
• Coordinates and facilitates the clinical experience of students in affiliated education programs.
• Oversees post-analytical activities and ensures workspace is neat and properly supplied.
