Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Specimen Processing Manager to lead the Specimen Processing, Imaging, Cytology Processing and Tech Ops teams in Houston, TX. The role requires strong leadership, compliance focus, and ability to manage multiple processes on a nightly schedule.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $120,000+ per year, with potential annual performance bonuses. Monday–Friday night shift, focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years laboratory experience with at least 4 years of direct supervisory experience in the clinical or anatomical pathology laboratory.
• Experience overseeing specimen processing and related operations.
• Strong leadership and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Specimen Processing, Imaging, Cytology Processing and Tech Ops.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain a safe, ergonomic environment.
• Train personnel and manage daily operations.
• Maintain low error rate and productivity within company standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve problems.
