Job summary

Antech Diagnostics in Irving, TX is seeking a laboratory technician to prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests, and read and release results. Shift starts 12am–2am, 8 hour schedule, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities include performing tests in Parasitology, Hematology, Chemistry and Serology, processing samples, quality control, and accurate data entry. Associates/Bachelor’s in medical technology or MLT preferred; strong attention to detail and English

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s in medical technology or MLT preferred.
• Clinical laboratory experience in Hematology preferred.
• Proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests and release results.
• Process and prepare samples for analysis.
• Perform quality control per QA guidelines.
• Oversee entering and releasing of results and read UA slides.
• Train in areas per SOPs including Specimen Processing, Chemistry, Hematology, UA, Coagulant.
• Reconcile pending lists and perform other duties as assigned.
