Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. The role schedules Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00am to 8:30am, handling clinical specimens and data entry while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer some experience with specimen processing, medical or lab work. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a global health company.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.
Comfortability with handling biological specimens.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.
