Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Janitor to perform overnight cleaning duties at Brightpoint Communit College Midlothian. The position runs Monday–Friday from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am and is full-time. Training is provided as needed.

Responsibilities include daily housekeeping, dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, trash, and restocking supplies. Candidates must pass background checks and may be required to work evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED not required.
• Previous experience is helpful but not required. Will train.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check. Additionally, must be able to pass a federal background check as required.
• No computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides janitorial/housekeeping services on a daily basis at designated sites.
• Maintains a clean environment by performing daily and scheduled tasks as required by the contract.
• Monitors the use of supplies and request additional supplies as needed using a 'just in time' inventory system.
