Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• College coursework, certification, or formal training highly desired.
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse (shipping/receiving) experience required.
• Cycle counting experience is beneficial.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices.
• Organized, attentive to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of computer applications (SAP a plus).
• Responsible for inventory and data entry reports and their accuracy.
• Assists with physical inventories and monthly cycle count activities.
• Analyzes and investigates inventory variances and reduces variances.
• Assists with finish goods and WIP inventories activities.
• Processes outbound shipment requests and prioritizes by delivery dates.
• Updates internal tracking systems for offsite shipments.

Responsibilities

• Ensures SAP transactions are performed accurately and timely.
• Update internal tracking systems and communicate shipment status.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle count activities.
• Analyze inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
• Process outbound shipment requests and offsite shipments.
• Support creation of shipping export/import documents and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Back-up to other Inventory Control positions and maintain housekeeping and safety practices.
