Job summary

Schneider National is seeking experienced intermodal drivers to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis across Midwest hubs. This role features predominantly no-touch work, night driving, and a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You’ll operate on dedicated lanes with opportunities for overtime, a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, paid orientation, and a substantial benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Gary, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 70–90% no-touch freight with 50% drop-and-hook.
• 80% dedicated lanes.
• Drive in and out of railyards within IA, IL, IN, MI and WI.
