Job summary

Community Health at Home in Durango, CO seeks a Nocturnist Hospitalist to provide top-tier inpatient care within a physician-led system. You will handle admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning at Mercy Hospital, collaborating with specialists, nurses, and staff to ensure seamless patient care.

The role offers a competitive base salary guaranteed for up to three years, with a 72-shift year and a shift rate of $2,337.89/shift, plus CME allowance, recruiting incentives, relocation

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Medicine required.
• Current Physician License in the state of Colorado required.
• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required.
• Other certifications may be required depending on practice setting or credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients including admissions, daily rounds and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with specialists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Attend interdisciplinary or nursing rounds and communicate patient status to the care team.
• Document information completely for patient care and billing purposes and support continuous education.
