Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate and monitor production equipment used in the manufacture of plastic containers at our facility in Paris, IL. You will ensure efficient machine performance, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of production goals in a safe environment.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with plastics molding or packaging equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blow molding, injection molding, or related equipment according to procedures.
• Perform start-up, shut-down, and product changeovers.
• Inspect containers for quality including dimensions and appearance.
• Complete production logs and quality checks accurately and on time.
• Identify and report mechanical or quality issues to maintenance or supervision promptly.
