Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to safely operate and monitor production equipment used in the manufacture of plastic containers in Paris, Illinois.

You will ensure machines run efficiently, produce quality products, perform start-ups and changeovers, inspect components, complete production logs, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blow molding, injection molding, or related manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform start-up, shut-down, and product changeovers as required.
• Inspect containers for quality, including dimensions, appearance, weight, and other specifications.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time (e.g., production logs, quality checks, downtime reports).
• Identify and report mechanical or quality issues to maintenance or supervision promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with 5S and safety standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, wearing required PPE at all times.
• Assist with basic maintenance or troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Position Summary
