Job summary

Post Consumer Brands, a unit of Post Holdings, Inc., operates a 24/7 Lawrence, KS facility producing iconic pet food brands and cereals. The Ingredient Operator will handle bulk ingredients, perform quality tests, and operate grinding/mixing equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, dependable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring food safety and equipment maintenance. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to adhere to a strict attendance policy.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Must follow captive uniform and safety shoe policy.
• Willingness to complete routine computer-based trainings.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload bulk ingredients from rail cars and trucks.
• Perform accurate, timely tests on incoming ingredients to ensure quality and food safety.
• Operate grinding and mixing equipment.
• Maintain equipment to reduce downtime and prevent downtime.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly work area for safety and quality.
