Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking experienced ICU nurses to join our Adult Intensive Care/Progressive Care Unit. The 12-bed unit treats respiratory failure, ARDS, sepsis, and shock, with collaboration across intensivists, hospitalists, PT/OT, and case management to ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of current ICU/critical care experience.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions allowed for >2 years acute care experience with review by CNO.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ICU patients on a 12-bed Adult ICU/PCU unit.
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, PT/OT, case management, and family liaison.
• Assist with bedside procedures (central/arterial lines, bronchoscopy, intubation, chest tube).
• Support a culture of learning, safety, and high-quality patient outcomes.
