Job summary

Qualifications

• KH Health Coordinator training upon hire into role.
• KH Nursing Assistant Orientation upon hire into role.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must have one of: six months as a nursing assistant in a hospital/long-term care; nursing assistant course in last six months; nursing student/pre-nursing on transcripts; current KH employee.

Responsibilities

• Dual role as Health Unit Coordinator and Nursing Assistant on the patient care team.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and perform delegated care tasks.
• Coordinate day-to-day unit activities and communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel.
• Serve as a resource for physicians and team members for the electronic medical record.
• Maintain knowledge and skills for delegated tasks and assist with department operations.
