Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering, OH is hiring a Nurse Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator for a part-time night shift. In this dual role you will assist patients with daily living activities and support unit operations.

You will perform essential administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure a safe, organized environment in alignment with Kettering Health's mission. BLS and state certifications may be required within a defined timeframe.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in patient care or administrative support in a healthcare setting, or STNA certification in Ohio.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
• Preferred: 1 year of healthcare experience; HUC certification; STNA certification; CNA with active Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator supports patient care and unit operations by providing direct assistance to patients with daily living activities and performing essential administrative and clerical functions.
• This dual role ensures effective communication, accurate record keeping, and a safe, organized environment for patients and staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
