Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking an on-site Security Officer for the Froedtert Men Falls Hospital facility. The role requires responding to dispatch calls, patrolling the campus, and supporting patient, visitor, and staff safety.

Requires 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, DAAT/NIMS training timelines, a valid driver's license, and BLS certification within three months. Lifting up to 50 lbs and weekend coverage are common for this shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proof of training in DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) within 3 years or ability to obtain within 120 days, including de-escalation training.
• Must complete NIMS IS-700 and IC-100 within six months of hire; FTO program within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide security in/around the hospital, campus, and parking structures; ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Respond to dispatch calls as a visible deterrent; de-escalate situations and enforce security procedures.
• Assist with investigations and other duties as assigned.
