Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Security Officer for nights to provide direct security and related public services at our Louisville facility. The role requires readiness to intervene physically during crises and to respond quickly to emergencies.

The officer will regularly communicate with patients, visitors, staff, and vendors, while upholding all hospital policies and guidelines. A valid driver's license and BCLS certification within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Taser X26P or Taser 7 course within 6 months.
• Handcuff course within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct security and related public services.
• Responds to emergencies and intervenes physically when required.
• Maintains constant vigilance to prevent injuries or property loss.
• Communicates effectively with diverse clients, employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Enforces hospital policies and guidelines.
