Job summary

Clear Vista Behavioral Hospital in Lorain, OH is seeking a Housekeeper / EVS Technician for night shifts to maintain a clean, safe patient environment during peak hours.

You will clean patient rooms, nursing stations, bathrooms and common areas to infection-prevention standards, handle biohazard waste and laundry, and coordinate with teams to support smooth care transitions.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital EVS or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and maintain attention to detail and safety.
• Respect for patient privacy and property.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, nursing stations, bathrooms, and common areas to infection-prevention standards.
• Perform terminal cleans and room turns between admissions; track tasks on rounding sheets.
• Handle biohazard waste and laundry per policy; replenish supplies.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.

Pay: $14 - $16 | Location: Lorain OH | Schedule: 2pm - 8:30pm
