Job summary

Guest Motor Group in the UK is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a premier dealer network. You will perform routine inspections, service and repairs on various marques including trailers, using manufacturer systems for fault diagnosis.

The role requires at least 3 years in a similar role, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and a desirable HGV licence. Working hours are 6:00pm–6:00am, Monday–Thursday, with 46 basic weekly hours, in a family-run, long-established dealer group.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience within a similar role.
• Prerequisite NVQ Level 3 or similar is essential.
• HGV licence desired.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections maintenance service and repairs on franchised and non-franchised marques including trailers to industry standard.
• Carry out a wide range of defect repairs.
• Fault diagnosis and rectification using the manufacturer’s computer system and tooling.
• Complete job cards and service sheets using online systems correctly and in line with warranty protocol.
