Allied Universal in Albany, GA is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol Driver. The role involves unarmed patrols, patient and visitor assistance, and responding to incidents in a healthcare setting.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and a willingness to adhere to Allied Universal’s values and policies. Pay is $15.00 per hour with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, licensing requirements may apply.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital facilities and grounds.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and reporting of concerns.
• Document incidents and communicate information to leadership and site personnel.
