Job summary

OhioHealth Environmental Services is seeking a dedicated Environmental Service Associate to clean patient rooms, public areas, and service zones while providing excellent customer service throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities include following work orders, operating cleaning equipment safely, stocking carts, and performing additional duties to maintain cleanliness and safety. Night shifts, 40 hours per week, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED will be considered only if they have a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance request from system or sheet and completes duties.
• Operates equipment safely and notifies areas through work orders when needed.
• Stocks assigned carts and areas, including linen distribution.
• Willing to perform other duties including storeroom maintenance to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Exhibits high level of customer service to patients and customers across the organization.
