Job summary

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, completion of a Nursing Assistant program, current BLS, and about one year of nursing assistant experience; hospital setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general clerical and receptionist duties including medical record maintenance, order processing, typing and other word processing tasks.
• Assist visitors, nursing staff and health care team on the nursing unit.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment on the unit.
• Perform nursing assistant duties under direct supervision or training.
