Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Health Aide Supervisor for Gracewood, Night shift. This role oversees subordinates, provides basic patient care, and helps patients develop daily living skills under nursing supervision.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and two years of related experience, with at least one year in a lead or supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience in a related field, in which one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Health Aide 3 (HCS022) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
• Provides basic patient care and works with patients/clients to develop daily living skills; may take vital signs under the direction of nursing staff.
