Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Georgia is seeking a Health Aide Supervisor for Gracewood, East Central Regional Hospital, night shift. This role supervises staff, delivers basic patient care, and supports development of daily living skills for patients under nursing guidance.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience, including leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience in a related field, including one (1) year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Health Aide 3 (HCS022) or position equivalent.
• Licenses must be current and enable providers to practice within the State of Georgia; vaccinations/ screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
• Provides basic patient care and works with patients/clients to develop daily living skills.
• May take vital signs and perform other related medical procedures under the direction of nursing staff.
