Job summary

Control Risks in Boston is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst to support a prominent client, monitoring threats that could affect personnel, assets, and operations. This is a 24/7/365 role with holiday and weekend work, covering the night shift from 11:00 pm ET to 8:00 am ET on Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday.

The position requires drafting notifications, coordinating crisis response, and collaborating with Global Security teams to ensure timely incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., international relations, security studies, political science).
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate/government security or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with global risk intelligence tools and incident response protocols essential.
• Experience with emergency mass notification and travel risk management systems advantageous.
• Ability to analyze open-source information critically and conduct thorough incident assessments.
• Proficient written and verbal communication to disseminate information; team collaboration under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor worldwide events and identify those impacting personnel, assets, and operations across the globe.
• Draft and review concise notifications for distribution to decision-makers and security leaders.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to support 24/7/365 GSOC operations.
• Coordinate crisis management, escalation, and emergency communications at multiple levels.
• Track risks to executive leadership during travel and provide timely briefings and updates.
• Participate in training, exercises, and after-action reviews to improve procedures.
• Coordinate with Global Security and vendor partners and support protective services and tech teams.
