Job summary

ShopRite is seeking staff to deliver a great customer experience while unloading and processing deliveries in the Grocery Department. You will maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department, and perform other tasks efficiently and safely in accordance with store policy.

The role requires physical tasks, good communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety, quality, and company standards. Training programs support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle products safely.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and process deliveries in the Grocery Department.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department.
• Follow approved procedures for receiving, stocking, and price marking.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to QA and safety standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and assistance.
