Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to provide overnight support, receiving and preparing product, and maintaining floor displays in line with company standards. You will assist with back stock, merchandising, and ensuring clean, safe operation while delivering friendly customer service.

No retail experience required. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible scheduling, and adherence to health and safety regulations as part of our Whole Benefits program.

Qualifications

• Learn basic knowledge of all products in the department.
• Visually inspect products for quality and freshness.
• Perform simple math for transactions and inventory.
• Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Meet customer service expectations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Check product quality against WFM standards.
• Sort and scan waste accurately.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and prep areas.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Receive product and report miss-picks to leadership.
• Assist overnight deliveries and sorting for other teams.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle phones courteously.
• Prepare, store, rotate, and merchandise product correctly.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
