The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring for a Store Operations role in Dayton, Ohio. You will provide exceptional customer service in a safe, clean environment and help ensure accurate pricing and shelving across the store.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, reading item codes, labeling products, and operating pallet equipment. A professional demeanor and adherence to policies are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct yourself in a professional manner, displaying a positive attitude and speaking highly of the company in the presence of customers or other employees.
• Respond to customer questions and requests in a courteous and helpful way.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Understand and adhere to the shrink guidelines.
• Unload trucks (Dairy, Frozen, Grocery, etc.).
• Remove merchandise from the pallet and sort into groups according to area stocked.
• Load merchandise onto carts for stocking on shelves or in back room.
• Read codes on shelves and merchandise labels.
• Attach price labels to each item.
• Stock back room merchandise on sales floor shelves and build special displays.
• Operate a manual pallet-jack or pallet stacker.
