Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking a Gate Security Officer for a premier corporate client site in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on gate access control and vehicle verification at a modern guard house, with equipment and PPE provided.

The position runs Friday–Tuesday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, offering a stable full-time schedule and opportunities for growth through reliable weekly pay and promotions within the account.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Exceptional customer service skills are absolutely required.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Comfortable operating access control systems and gate operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with reliable transportation.
• Dependable, reliable, and committed to ethical conduct and professional uniform presentation.
• Pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Visually verify employee badges and log all vendor, visitor, and contractor credentials.
• Maintain accurate, detailed logs of all entries and collected information.
• Deliver excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors with professionalism and courtesy.
• Follow established site and company procedures, complying fully with client policies and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Respond promptly and calmly to any inquiries or client requests.
