Job summary

SBM is seeking a Garment Technician in Apex, NC to deliver, unload, and organize garments. You will follow safety rules, perform assignments solo or in teams, and maintain a clean work area while ensuring timely delivery to drop zones on campus.

The role requires the ability to read instructions and communicate effectively; experience is preferred but not required. Shift is Sunday-Thursday, 9pm-5:30am with an hourly rate of $20–$21, reflecting warehousing duties and safety training requirements.

Qualifications

• No education requirement
• 6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May be required to have a valid driver's license.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Breakdown of Prudential Tall Boys in B13 Warehouse Staging Industrial garments in B13 Warehouse for delivery by drop zone and size
• Delivery of clean Industrial garments to drop zones throughout campus
• Removal of soiled bags from drop zones throughout campus
• Return of soiled bags to B13
