Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass a background check and an alcohol/drug test.
• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator, Dock/Warehouse Worker, or Material Handler preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight onto and off equipment.
• Prepare, sweep, inspect and clean trailers before loading freight.
• Use safe lifting techniques and proper handling equipment for loading/unloading.
• Weigh and dimension shipments; check manifests and freight bills for accuracy.
• Block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transport.
